Hello everyone,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope you have a great new year ahead :)
Do you have any resolutions or words for 2018?
I have a long list of both...hoping to get through them as the year goes by :D
Well...one of the resolutions is also to get back to crafting and start using all the pattern paper I have hoarding...
So I sat down to make a few new year cards to give to my friends and family.
This is my first card of the year...I layered some pattern paper and these cute puffy letter stickers (new to my stash).

Back to my crafty place
Hello crafty people,
Lets see....its been more than 10 months since I last posted on this blog....WOAH!!!
A lot of things happened in those 10 months...which kept me away from craft supplies...
I have been trying to find my way back to crafting for a month now...I think I am finally there...
And I thought what would be a better time than during a Coffee Lovers BlogHop...the biggest bloghop of the craft world...
With this card, I brought together all of my favorite things...Doodling, Coffee and Cardmaking 😇
Like many of you out there, I am also guilty of hoarding beautiful pattern papers....but I have made up my mind that I will buy new pattern papers only after I have exhausted the ones in my stash 😲...and that is a lot...
So I busted out some pretty papers to boost the look of my cute coffee doodles and quotes...
A cup of sunshine...a hug in a mug...to keep you warm this winter :)

More Love & Hope
Hello everyone,
This is my last week with the Daring Cardmakers...atleast for a while ;)
I have a few family commitments that I need to attend to...which will keep me very very busy...so I have decided to take a break from my DT position here...
The challenge this week is to think of what you want more of in 2017 and incorporate it in your card...
I think the world needs more love and hope...so I made a card incorporating the these elements...
I have had a great great time in Daring Cardmakers DT...I have loved making cards for the innovative challenges each weak...
Thanks for everything Kathy and team :)

Heart in Stitches
Hello everyone,
The dare at Daring Cardmakers this week is to feature stitching on your cards as a real eye-catching element...
So many ways to incorporate stitching on your cards...like sewing a simple stitch...or something fancy with your sewing machine...then there are all the awesome stitching-themed dies and stamps...
I went with this 49 & Market line-stitch stamp...
I loved this stamp set as soon as I laid my eyes on it...and bought it soon after...but did not get a chance to use it...
So when I saw the challenge this week...I knew this is what I was gonna use...and also that I was gonna use the entire stamp set :D
I was excited to use this stamp with my new MISTI...it really is an awesome tool...especially for someone as impatient and careless as me... ;)
Do join us at Daring Cardmakers to participate and to see the beautiful creations of our DT

Punch Cutout Pattern
Hello everyone,
Its Friday which means its time for a new challenge at Daring Cardmakers...
The challenge this week is "New"
With start of the new year try something new...a new technique, a new fold, a new colour combination...the options are endless....
I tried something really different...I made a pattern using cut-outs of some punched negatives...
Sounds complex...doesn't it...hehehe
I had a sheet or two of white cardstock with snowflakes punched out of them...which I used to make this and this card...
Then a few days ago, I got this idea to cut hexagon shapes around the punched negatives...
My favourite part was making the pattern...it was solving a puzzle...and I love puzzles and patterns...
