Hello,

The dare this week at Daring Cardmakers is to feature Wonderful Woodgrain patterns on your cards as a focal element...

I made the most of my Papericious Woodgrain paper pad...

Raspberry & Lime

Hello,

Its Daring Cardmakers challenge time!!!

The dare for this week is "Raspberry & Lime"...

You have to make a card that uses bright green and vivik pink as the main colours...

I have never liked the pink and green combination...

But thanks to this dare...my view is changed forever...

I loved the combination so so much...that I created 2 cards using the same combination and idea...

(Sadly...the card didn't photograph very well)

For the first card, the wreath was created using the tiny flower stamps from the Mudra Floral Silouette card...

For the 2nd card, I used the smallest flower from my Mandala stamp set by Peekaboo to create the wreath...

The background was created by sponging Distress Inks through a lattice stencil...

And I used 2 sentiments from a Ki by Hampton Art stamp set...

Its Friday...which means a new dare at the Daring Cardmakers...

The theme for this week is "A Room with a View"...

Make a card with a window or aperture on your card with a picturesque view...

I made a card with a window....

that opens to reveal...

a beautiful view with the sentiment....

Supplies used:
Card base -> Pattern paper from stash
For windows -> Papericious Woodgrain pattern paper & Vellum
For the view -> Design by Ryn stamps + Mudra Hummingbird stamp
Distress Inks for colouring the scene
