Raspberry & Lime

Its Daring Cardmakers challenge time!!!
The dare for this week is "Raspberry & Lime"...
You have to make a card that uses bright green and vivik pink as the main colours...

I have never liked the pink and green combination...
But thanks to this view is changed forever...
I loved the combination so so much...that I created 2 cards using the same combination and idea...

(Sadly...the card didn't photograph very well)

For the first card, the wreath was created using the tiny flower stamps from the Mudra Floral Silouette card...

For the 2nd card, I used the smallest flower from my Mandala stamp set by Peekaboo to create the wreath...

The background was created by sponging Distress Inks through a lattice stencil...
And I used 2 sentiments from a Ki by Hampton Art stamp set...

  1. Very pretty!! Loved how you used the small stamps to create the wreath.

  2. Yes sometimes Challenges make us try something entirely the stencilling

  5. The background looks awesome with those stunning colors and the wreath gives a welcome break to the design.

  6. beautiful stenciling and lovely cards purvi

  7. Beautiful cards! Love the stenciled background and small wreaths at the center.

  8. Lovely creation love the colours blends !

  9. Phew, I'm glad you changed your mind! I found the combo odd myself when I first came across it but the bright colours appeal to my "youthful" mind *gg*
I like your cards, the oriental pattern works well with those colours - xx Svenja
