Butterflies and Rainbows

Hello crafters,

Back with another card....

For this card I was inspired by the cool banner of The Craft Shop which is the inspiration photo at Create Something Catchy this week...




Another inspiration was the theme at The Mixed Media Card Challenge this month - Butterflies

I recently received my first order from Stamplorations...and with it came the beautiful Shower of Flutters stencil....so I just had to use it...


I took a white cardstock and placed the stencil where I wanted. And then started the blendathon :P ....
blending Peacock Feathers, Olive Green, Spiced Marmalade and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks...
And then came some splatters of water...love how these inks react with water...

Next I added the sentiment...the sentiment is made of some 3-D plastic stickers I have...but they were golden...so I used a Camlin Paint Marker on them...I was surprised how well it worked on the stickers...
And the last touch was to add that cute butterfly wooden charm...
