Enjoy the ride...

Helloooo,

I am excited to anounce that I am the Guest Designer for the month of May at Daring Cardmakers...
I love the concept of this challenges...there is a new dare each week and each dare is awesome...

The dare this week is to be inspired by this photo...

You have to use at least three elements from the picture on your card

The elements I chose are woodgrain, cycle and leaves...

If you are wondering why the cycle and sentiment are so bright...its because I have used Sakura Gelly Roll Moonlight pens...love how bright they are against dark backgrounds...

Coffee Doodles

Hello everyone,

It is the season of Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop... :D
No one can resist creating cards for this bloghop...
After all it coffee and crafts...the best combination ever...

I can't really draw well...but I sure can doodle...so I doodled away for this card...
Yup...no stamps on this card...only a piece of cardstock and white gel pen...

I drew a lot of little cups and mugs with different designs...
Added the sentiment in the end...

Adding a better photo...

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Snowflake

Hello everyone,

My second post for the day....
Lately I have been so lost in all the cool crafting supplies, that I forgot how much I loved paper-cutting...so I did just that...a piece of white paper and scissors...and I created a Snowflake,,,

A paper-cutting snowflake, a few splatters, a handwritten sentiment and a faux-stitching border...thats all it took to make this simple holiday card...

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Time Out Challenge - Snowflakes are Winter's Butterflies
Craft for the Craic Challenge - Christmas Cheer
Scrap and Craft Challenge - Anything Christmas

Latte lettering

Heya there,

This is my second card for the Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop...this is a simple one...
I tried hand-lettering on this card...

The main panel of this card was created using coffee and STAMPlorations Bold Sentiments stamp set...
I had a lot of fun coloring, splattering and making cup marks with coffee concoction on this panel...
I drew the cup with a Pigma Micron Tip pen and did the lettering with white Sakura Gelly Roll pen..

First Art Journal Page (Beauty)

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I tried something new and I am really excited and happy about it.
Lately I have not been getting enough time to craft. I have been feeling restless because of the lack of creative outlet.
So I thought of giving Art Journalling a try...as it doesn't take much time.

I started by making a simple watercolour background...just some pink...some purple and a hint of red...And I just had to use my rose stencil on it...

Then I started wondering what to write in that empty space and found this quote...
I practiced some handlettering and wrote down the quote...
I gave the beautiful background a twist (to make it my kind of beautiful ;) ) with some tattered paper pieces distressed with Vintage Photo Ink ...

I don't know whether it looks good or not...but it did a hell of a good job calming my restless crafty mind. :D

What do you guys think about my first Art Journalling attempt? Are their any suggestions/tips you like to give?
Leave a comment below. :)

P.S. I blurred the board pins at the corners so that it doesn't distract from the page.
I ended up pinning the page on the display board of my cubicle in office :)

I am entering this journal page for the following challenge:
