Geometry on my mind

Hello everyone,

I am extending my GD stint at Daring Cardmakers for another month...Hurray! :D
The dare this month is to use at least three elements from this picture on your card

Isn't this picture fabulous...I am loving the colour theme...
I have chosen the colours, mint triangles and metallic criss-cross lines...to create a geometric pattern on my card...
Also the pattern paper has leaves...

And here goes my pathetic attempt to capture the shine of the golden marker...lol...

I have used Bielo cardstock from TheCraftShop, pattern paper from Itsy Bitsy and sentiment sticker and Pilot Gold paint marker from a local craft shop

Anniversary Box Card

Hello everyone,

It is my last week as GD for Daring Cardmakers...and it is surely the best dare of the month...
It brought me back to my love of interactive/fancy fold cards...

The dare this month is to create a Box Card...Yay!
I made a box card for my parent's anniversary...

I added my parent's intials on the side flaps...

I used die-cuts, chipboards from my stash...
I have used paper from the Papericious Woodgrain collection as the base of my card...
I love how sturdy their paper is...I was able to create the box card without using any other cardstock as base...

And finally...this is how the card looks when closed...

Do check out the awesome creations made by the talented team over at Daring Cardmakers

Rainbow Mandala

Heya,

Its Friday!!!...that means a new dare at Daring Cardmakers...and the dare is "Paint the rainbow"
You have to make a card featuring a rainbow or using rainbow colours - you don't have to use them all but they do need to be in the right order!

As soon as I knew this dare...I took out my brand-new Sakura Gelly Roll Moonlight pens...and drew a flower/mandala...

Using a different shape for your card is a great way to change things up...I personally love different shape cards...

The sentiment is from Party Time stamp set from Stamplorations...

Lucky Clover

Hey everyone,

I am back with the next dare at "Daring Cardmakers". The dare is to make a Good Luck card.
And you get extra brownie points for anything that goes with superstition : chimney sweeps, horseshoes, lucky clover...

The Design Team members have made fabulous cards for this dare...Do check out their creations here

For my card, I went with the lucky clover...
A weird angle shot to show the dimension of the origami hearts...hehehe

Anyways, I made those cute orgami hearts using papers from my stash...
I used Papericious Wooden Collection for the frame...love this woodgrain paper pad....
And that cool sentiment is actually the outline of a sticker from a local shop...

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Flower
Case this sketch - Inspired by the sketch
Crop Stop Linky Party

Enjoy the ride...

Helloooo,

I am excited to anounce that I am the Guest Designer for the month of May at Daring Cardmakers...
I love the concept of this challenges...there is a new dare each week and each dare is awesome...

The dare this week is to be inspired by this photo...

You have to use at least three elements from the picture on your card

The elements I chose are woodgrain, cycle and leaves...

If you are wondering why the cycle and sentiment are so bright...its because I have used Sakura Gelly Roll Moonlight pens...love how bright they are against dark backgrounds...
