Hello crafters,
I love drawing zentangle patterns and doodles...so I was very excited to see the Zentangle theme on the Alphabet Challenge...
I have been pushing myself to try out new colour combinations...so I was happy to see the Pink and Grey theme on Less is More challenge (Congrats on completing 4 years!!!)...coz I almost never use Grey...
And with Valentine's Day closing in...there is Love theme on CASology and Hearts theme on The Crafter's Cafe...
So with all these elements...I got to work...
First I drew a heart and cut-out the middle part...I coloured it with Worn Lipstick DI.
Now I wanted it to be glossy and a bit 3-D...but I don't have Glossy Accent...so I went ahead with a thrifty way...I covered the heart with Fevicol (glue) and let it dry overnight...
I just love how it turned out...
I really like how white patterns look on a dark card base...so I took a grey cardstock and started drawing zentangle patterns with a white Gel pen...I have used Printemp and Zinger zentangle patterns here...they are my favourite patterns...
Once the patterns were drawn I glued the heart...
The last part was the sentiment...the label is coloured with Worn Lipstick DI (I spritzed a little water on the label) and the sentiment is handwritten...
I did not do much with the sentiment because I wanted the heart and zentangle patterns to be the focus on this card...
I would love to hear your comments and opinions about this card...
