Hello everyone,
I am back with another Valentine Card...can't stop making them...:D
Shaker cards are very much in trend now...but I have observed that there are very less variations of shaker cards...meaning...it usually an image in the background and an acetate either stitched or adhered with foam tape...
And I always like to give my cards a twist...
So here is my shaker card...
Here is a closer look at the shaker elements and the image behind...

I know what you are thinking...where is the twist?????
Wait for it...
Open the card and.............
A bit more....
And Tada...the twist... it is a see-through shaker card...the image is on the inside of the card...
Here's another look at the see-through shaker card...
(My second futile attempt to emphasise that it is see-through :P )
Now that the suspense is over...let me tell you about the all the elements on the card...
The card background - I have used Worn Liptick DI with a circular dauber. I wanted a messy look so I did not try to blend the colour and I also spritzed it with water several time. I have used Vintage Photo DI for the edges of the card. And lastly, I have flicked white acrylic paint with a toothbrush for the white splatter.
The B&W heart - The heart is part of a digi from The Graphic Fairy. I omitted the couple that was in the middle of the heart. Fuzzy cut the image.
Shaker elements - I have used some silver sequins, light pink pearls and small silver balls
The shaker background - I used the heart cut-out from the front panel on the inside of the card. The sentiment is stamped using letters from different stamps. The doodle border is drawn using a Micron tip pen.
Hope you like my shaker card and the twist...
Note: Sorry for the quality of the pics. Had to take them with mobile. :(
