A new Resist technique

Hello crafters,

It is incredible how your color palette changes according to the change in season.

The weather has been cold lately and I am automatically inclined to use winter colors. :)

So I made this Clean and Simple Christmas tag...

I have been wanting to use resist techniques. But I don't have embossing powder or ink (yet ;) ).

Also I was not fully satisfied with effect from vaseline and crayon resist technique.

Drum-roll please...I bring to you.......a new resist technique

While I was playing and trying some things...I was surprised when I tried this...
All you need is a Correction pen (Whitener) and Distress

Start by making any design or shapes with the Correction Pen. Once it is dry, start adding colour to the area with a makeup wedge and any Distress ink.

You will notice that the ink doesnt colour the correction pen design/shape.

As I wanted to use winter colours. I made some stars from the correction pen.

I dont have any Christmas themed stamps so I printed out the Christmas greetings.

And I added a strip in the middle and coloured it with Silver gel pen.

If you like this technique, you might like this too...Starry Sky Card

Hope you all like this Christmas tag.

I am entering this tag for the following challenges:
