Hello crafters,
I have been doodling henna designs on the pages of my notebooks since my childhood days...
I love Mehendi (Henna) designs...especially the Paisleys...
I used an art journal page I made as the background paper...
I drew the henna design on a corner of the page with a Pigma Micron tip pen.

I used an art journal page I made as the background paper...
I drew the henna design on a corner of the page with a Pigma Micron tip pen.
Then I mounted the piece on white watercolour paper which then mounted on the card base. The base was coloured with Wild Honey and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks
The Henna Design was inspired by Arty Sorts Indian Motifs challenge
I loved the asymmetry of the sketch on the sweetest thing challenge blog...
Whereas the colours were inspired my the Runway Inspired challenge for this week

Making your own background/pattern paper is a lot of fun...so entering this card in the following challenges as well:
This was a quick card to do...a piece of an art journal page...some doodling...some distressing and the card was ready...so entering it in Speed Craft challenge
