Orange Birthday

Hello crafters,

Here today with a very simple card...

I bought this stencil recently and was very eager to use it...

I used Wild Honey Distress Ink on the stencil and attached the two pieces on a card stock...

I made 2 versions of the card...

In the first one I coloured the card base with the distress ink to blend with the panels...

For the second one, I kept the card base as is...

Here a closer look at the panels...

Which version do you think looks better???

I am entering this card to the following challenges:

  1. Love the Wild Honey creating the umber effect. I like both cards, but the card with the base kept white adds a bit more interest for me. Very close choices.

  2. I love the white background!
Thanks for joining us at CAS(E) this sketch!

  3. Your both cards are beautiful, Purvi :-D I like the design, orange color, ombre effect you created.... BEAUTIFUL! I like better the first version with colored base. :-D
    Enjoy :-D

  4. Ohhh I love them both, but I think I prefer the second one. Beautiful blending and design! Thanks so much for playing with us at the Runway Inspired Challenge - we're so glad you did!!

  5. Oh, these look great! Wonderful take on the sketch!

  6. They both look great! I love your blending!
